Driver Injured in 2-vehicle Collision

An accident involving two vehicles near Ellensburg unfortunately left one man injured.

The accident took place around 10:55 Saturday morning after a 22-year-old driver who was going westbound on Highway 90 lost grip of his vehicle. According to the authorities, the trailer his Suzuki Sidekick was pulling hit a bridge, which forced both vehicle and trailer to slide in front of a semi-truck driven by a 24-year-old woman from Grandview.

The spokesperson for the Washington State Patrol claimed that the vehicles collided in the right lanes of the highway. The 24-year-old truck driver and her passenger didn’t sustain any injuries but the 22-year-old driver was taken to the hospital sustaining unknown injuries as a result of the accident.

The authorities claimed that the man was charged for driving too fast for the present road conditions.

As a Seattle Attorney, I’m certain that the injured driver will be able to recover quickly and without any major difficulties. I urge drivers to remember that when the roads are slippery, the car will respond differently. Motorists should consider the road and weather conditions before attempting to accelerate.

Be safe and watch out for the many hurdles you may encounter ahead of you.
